Jeffrey Young, PMP, ACP, MCP
Founding Scientific Advisor
Jeffrey Young is President and founder of INVANTAS Solutions Corp., a Los-Angeles based consultancy specializing in process innovation consulting and services for program and project-driven organizations.
In his 18 years as a transformation leader, Mr. Young has planned, designed and implemented technology-focused transformation programs for clients in the information technology (Warehouse Operations, Asset Management and Recovery, and Professional Services), financial services (commercial banking, consumer credit, and insurance) and healthcare (payer, provider, pharmaceutical and devices) sectors.
Prior to founding INVANTAS, Mr. Young was Vice President of Field Operations for Health Management Systems, the operating subsidiary of HMS Holdings Corp. He served as operations executive for HMS's National Service Center (NSC) in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Young managed consolidation of client services from multiple locations into the NSC, improving operational productivity by 10% in its first year of operations.
Prior to HMS, Mr. Young served in a number of consulting roles with clients across the United States as well as program management roles for enterprise clients at IBM Global Services and Deloitte Consulting. He is the former Managing Principal Consultant, President and Chief Executive Officer of TRANSACT Systems Corporation, a technology management consulting services provider to mid-market companies.
Mr. Young holds an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce – Accounting from DePaul University. Mr. Young is a published author on the use of quantitative information analysis techniques and tools for business operations planning and optimization.
Mr. Young is an active member of the Institute for Certification of Computer Professionals (ICCP), the Computer Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society, the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the National Automated Clearinghouse Association (NACHA).
Mr. Young volunteers his time and talents to a number of organizations, as President of the Fairmount Owners Association, past member of the Board of Governors of the Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council, and serving as a health and safety services Instructor Trainer for the American Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles.
