Tracy E. Austin, MPA, MA, Director of Online Fundraising and Community

Tracy AustinTracy E. Austin grew up in two small towns, Pollocksville and Trenton, North Carolina. Her mother always reminded her that she could be and do whatever she set her mind to be and do. This challenge and ongoing encouragement has propelled Tracy throughout her life. Others would describe her as serious minded, smart, professional, knowledgeable, resourceful, and fun to be around. People remember her smile, laugh, conversational ease, and ability to remember small details. She describes herself as an activist, challenging herself and others to grow and operate as stakeholders in their future. She is passionate about learning and community empowerment; pledging to be a positive role model for those within the sphere of her influence and beyond.

Tracy is an administrator. Two of her strengths are conceptualization and implementation. Her experience is qualified by academic preparation and enhanced by public service. Tracy’s philanthropy is exemplified through: 1) belief in the worth of every individual; 2) a conviction to nurture healthy relationships; 3) and a vow of personal betterment through volunteerism, continuing education, and civic engagement.
