Use of Funds

Initially, the foundation will use funds for:

• General Operating Expenses
• Developing infrastructure and building out the organization
• Supporting our national volunteer efforts
• Nanotechnology Education & Awareness Programs
• Scholarships for advanced degrees in nanotechnology
• Matching grants from the federal government agencies
• Post-doctoral research associate and graduate research fellowships

Over time, fund use will expand to include:

• Endowed professorships for new multi-disciplined research positions
• Lab equipment and facilities
• Lab manager(s) and staff recruitment
• Lab staff and post-doctoral research associate positions
• Research fellows and other staff to support principal investigators
