NRF Values

The following is a summary of the Nanotechnology Research Foundation’s core values. We believe the more people think and talk about responsibility, the more the world becomes a better place.

Social Responsibility is the ethical or ideological concept that an entity - whether it is a government, corporation, organization or individual - has a responsibility to the society it is a part of.

Corporate Responsibility is the idea that organizations should consider the interests of society by taking responsibility for the impact of their activities on customers, suppliers, employees, shareholders, communities and other stakeholders, as well as the environment. This concept extends beyond statutory obligations to include the notion that organizations should voluntarily work to improve the quality of life for employees and their families as well as for the local community and society at large.

Education

The NRF believes that education is the key to progress, development and economic growth. We are committed to being a responsible partner in the communities where we operate.

Environment

The NRF will focus on driving the development of new technologies aimed at exploiting alternative energy sources that do not deplete our environment, and that have a positive global impact on our quality of life.

Health

The NRF believes that, through the development of nanotechnology breakthroughs, we will be able to create unparalleled improvements in future health and disease management.

Collaboration

The NRF believes in creating a positive and lasting impact by developing a collaboration among multiple stakeholders that collectively will advance nanotechnology research.

Worldwide Giving

We believe research and development in advanced technologies will translate into applications that will benefit mankind and the environment on a global scale.

Teamwork, Celebration & Recognition

While researchers will create the breakthroughs, all of us have a hand in changing our world through nanotechnology.
